The Port of Ningbo was established nearly three hundred years ago and was known as one of the three major locations for international trade as far back as the Tang Dynasty (618-907).<\/p>\n

The port of Ningbo is the largest port in the world for a reason. Like the port of Hong Kong, Ningbo is part of the Silk Road, which runs from the Chinese coast to Singapore, India, Mombasa, the Suez Canal and finally the Mediterranean Sea. Currently, Ningbo is linked to more than 560 ports in more than 90 countries around the world, with a cargo throughput of more than 100 million tons per year.<\/p>\n
